Update, restyle and remove index sheets

Goal

Keep your index sheets current and remove the ones you no longer need.

Before you start

• An Index Sheet in your file.

Steps

1. Update a sheet Select the Index Sheet with Mimic Style on. The Create button turns into Update. Click it and indexly replaces the sheet with a freshly built one in the same place.
2. Use the relaunch buttons Select an Index Sheet and Figma shows three relaunch buttons: Open indexly, Remove index sheets from file and Remove index sheets from actual page.
3. Index every page Click the ••• button in the footer and choose Index Sheets for all Pages (Beta). indexly creates one sheet on every page.
4. Delete all sheets Click ••• and choose Delete All Index Sheets (Beta), or use the relaunch buttons on a sheet to remove the sheets of the file or of the current page.

Result

Your index sheets match your file, or they are gone.

If something goes wrong

• Update all index sheets is greyed out. It is marked Coming and is not available yet. Select each sheet and click Update.
