Frequently asked questions

The details, when you need them.

How is FileOpener different from Bookmarkly?
FileOpener keeps whole Figma files, across all your projects, and opens a folder of them at once. Bookmarkly saves places inside one file and keeps them in that file.
What does "open all" do exactly?
It opens every file in the folder, subfolders included, each in its own tab. It does not change anything in the files.
Why does it ask for a share link?
A Community plugin cannot read a file's address by itself. Copy the share link in Figma, paste it once and FileOpener remembers the file.
Who sees my folders?
Only you. Folders are kept in your own Figma plugin storage, not in a shared file. Export them as JSON to move or back them up.
Is it free?
Yes. Every FileOpener feature works without Pro.
Does it send data anywhere?
FileOpener checks a licence and sends usage events to raiken.io. Your files and folders stay in Figma.

Quickstart: your first file set

Three steps, then two tips.

1. Add your files

In Figma, copy a file's share link. Open FileOpener, choose Add and paste the link. Repeat for the files you open every week.

2. Make a folder

Choose New for a folder, or drop one file onto another to group them. Name it after the project or the day, such as "Monday: sprint".

3. Open them together

Open the folder's menu and choose Open All Files. Every file opens in its own tab.

Tag by client and status

Tags like Client, WIP or Review let you filter the list. A file needs all selected tags to stay visible.

Skip the panel

Use Figma's quick actions and type "Open Figma Document" to jump to a saved file or folder without opening FileOpener.
